Cadillac and Corvette at the British International Motor Show
Cadillac and Corvette will debut at the British International Motor Show by showcasing the full range of models available for sale in Europe. Cadillac will feature the all-new right-hand drive BLS range of premium midsize saloons supported by the right-hand drive executive saloon, the CTS. Also on display will be the versatile, all-wheel drive SRX (available with right-hand drive later this year), the luxury STS saloon, the XLR roadster and the new Escalade. The Cadillac range offers arguably the widest choice of engines from a 1.9 litre turbo-diesel developing 150 hp through to a 6.2 litre V8 with 409 hp. The British International Motor Show is being held at ExCeL, London from July 20 to July 30 inclusive.
Audi engine and security technology honoured by top awards
The most secure and theft-resistant model range in the UK is built by Audi, according to the findings of Government-backed experts at the Thatcham Research Centre, who have just voted the brand ‘Best Manufacturer’ in the 2006 British Insurance Car Security Awards, held on June 7th.
Hakkinen to join six F1 World Champions at Goodwood
Former F1 World Champion, Mika Hakkinen, is the latest star driver to confirm his attendance at the Festival of Speed, which is to be held on 7.8.9. July in the grounds of Goodwood House. The double World Champion, who is making his debut appearance at Goodwood, is expected to take to the hill on Saturday and Sunday, driving a range of Mercedes racing cars.

Drivers tend to ignore all but the most basic of road signs. A red light will still (thankfully) get most drivers to stop, most of the time.
