As National Apprentice Week commences, Jaguar Land Rover has announced that it will double the number of Advanced (Level 3) Apprenticeship places available during 2011 and that the 1500 new recruits currently joining the workforce at Jaguar Land Rover's Halewood plant to build the new Range Rover Evoque will be trained up to an Intermediate (Level 2) Apprenticeship.

Peugeot Sport release details of new 908

Peugeot Sport has a busy 2011 ahead of it with the launch of its all new Peugeot 908 and a comprehensive endurance racing programme. After a strong season in 2011, which saw it claim the inaugural Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC) title, Peugeot Sport will be looking to defend its crown, although the highlight of the season will again be the Le Mans 24 Hours (June 11-12).

He is closely followed by licensed to thrill Bond star Daniel Craig (39%), Roger Federer (39%) and Prince Harry (39%) who narrowly beat his elder brother Prince William (38%) and US President Barack Obama (38%).

Turbocharged Toyota power for Dynojet Avensis

The Dynojet Race Team’s Avensis BTCC car will be powered by a Toyota engine, it can be confirmed today. To be raced this season by Frank Wrathall Jnr, the squad’s Avensis will have under its bonnet a 2.0-litre turbocharged power unit adapted from one of Toyota’s road-going range.
