Helen Lederer Stars In New Stage Comedy
Comedienne Helen Lederer will star in the world premiere of, 'Wake Up and Smell The Coffee', a sassy new comedy exploring animal food, animal sex and the fear of being devoured, which is to receive its world premiere at the New End Theatre, Hampstead, from Wednesday April 4 - Sunday April 22.

Aernout Mik: Shifting Shifting
Camden Arts Centre presents four new films by renowned Dutch artist Aernout Mik which have unsettling links to recent global events. The shifting distribution of power and patterns of human behaviour are combined with Mik’s unique sense of the absurd. For his first exhibition in the UK since 2000, Mik uses unseen footage from the conflict in former Yugoslavia and stages a fictional account of the aftermath of a disaster.
A Celebration Of Friendship & Poetry At The Lowry
During the First World War, two of England’s greatest twentieth century poets met at Craiglockhart War Hospital. Siegfried Sassoon was a decorated war hero who was hospitalised after protesting against the continuing war. Wilfred Owen was a victim of shell shock and accused of cowardice. Upon returning to the front, Sassoon was shot in the head but survived. Owen went on to win the military cross, then die in the trenches seven days before Armistice Day and receive posthumous fame as the greatest poet of the war.

Now the sensational story of a girl whose dalliance with a Cabinet minister and a Russian diplomat led to jail, suicide and a Prime Minister’s resignation, is to be dramatised in a new musical – ‘A Model Girl’.

The Tate08 Series goes from strength to strength in 2007 with an exhibition of work by Ellen Gallagher. Born in 1965, Ellen Gallagher is best known as a leading contemporary painter, although she has also created drawings, prints, sculptures and, in collaboration with Edgar Cleijne, a number of 16mm films.
Major Exhibition From Godfather Of British Pop Art
Tate Liverpool will present a major retrospective exhibition of paintings by Peter Blake, the largest since his Tate Gallery exhibition in 1983. A highly influential and original artist, Blake is often described as the godfather of British Pop art. The Tate Liverpool exhibition will survey his rich and diverse oeuvre, presenting familiar works alongside other rarely-seen ones.
