Aernout Mik: Shifting Shifting
Camden Arts Centre presents four new films by renowned Dutch artist Aernout Mik which have unsettling links to recent global events. The shifting distribution of power and patterns of human behaviour are combined with Mik’s unique sense of the absurd. For his first exhibition in the UK since 2000, Mik uses unseen footage from the conflict in former Yugoslavia and stages a fictional account of the aftermath of a disaster.

Rogue Traders - New Single 'Way To Go'
Rogue Traders will release ‘Way To Go’ the third single from their debut album ‘Here Comes The Drums’ on 26th March. This is set to follow in the footsteps of previous singles ‘Voodoo Child’ and ‘Watching You’. ‘Voodoo Child’ was one of the top 10 tracks of 2007 and has now gone silver.

During the First World War, two of England’s greatest twentieth century poets met at Craiglockhart War Hospital. Siegfried Sassoon was a decorated war hero who was hospitalised after protesting against the continuing war. Wilfred Owen was a victim of shell shock and accused of cowardice. Upon returning to the front, Sassoon was shot in the head but survived. Owen went on to win the military cross, then die in the trenches seven days before Armistice Day and receive posthumous fame as the greatest poet of the war.

Goody was questioned by the show's studio audience, viewers phoning in as well as studio guests and host, journalist Matthew Wright. She revealed that she was planning to visit India and that she had returned to her home for the first time that morning and that her windows had been smashed.

Virgin Classics Signs Diana Damrau Exclusive
Virgin Classics has the pleasure of announcing the signing of a long-term exclusive recording contract with German soprano Diana Damrau. Her first release on the label (due out January 2008) will be a recital programme of opera arias by Mozart, Salieri and Righini, with the recently founded period instrument ensemble, Le Cercle de l’Harmonie, under the direction of its conductor, Jérémie Rhorer.
