BBC Radio 1 has announced the new line-up of its dance music show In New DJs We Trust for 2007. Professor Green and Mistress De Funk will join the roster in January 2007 alongside Kutski and Plastician.

A series of special guest presenters have been standing in for Zane Lowe on his BBC Radio 1 show this month. Guest presenters are hosting the programme while Zane is on leave, culminating in Coldplay's lead singer Chris Martin fronting the show on 18 January 2007.

Tributes To Magnus Magnusson
Writer and broadcaster Magnus Magnusson – best remembered as the presenter of Mastermind for 25 years - has died, aged 77. He died peacefully at his home near Glasgow at 6.45pm in the arms of his family – his wife Mamie, to whom he was married for 52 years, and his four surviving children Sally, Margaret, Anna and Jon. His elder son Siggy died in 1973.
