A faster airport link for Tokyo

From 2010 the transfer time from central Tokyo to Tokyo's international airport, Narita, will be much speedier. In 2010, the Keisei Skyliner, which together with the Narita Express is one of the main transportation between the airport and the city, will shorten its travel time to just over 30 minutes making the journey closer and more convenient.

Qantas makes history with inaugural A380 service

Qantas this week became the first airline to operate commercial A380 flights between Australia and the US West Coast, when its inaugural A380 service departed Melbourne for Los Angeles. The flight left Melbourne at 11.15am, and is scheduled to land in Los Angeles at 7.30am, where it will be met by Qantas Ambassador-at-Large John Travolta, Australian entertainment legend Olivia Newton-John and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

SWISS lowers fuel surcharges

Thomsonfly to stop flying from Coventry Airport

An increased focus on charter flight operations since the merger of Thomson and First Choice last year has meant less of a focus on scheduled services, such as those operated by Thomsonfly from Coventry Airport.

Fuels drag TAP into the “Red”
