Pegasus Airlines launches its winter flight schedule with tickets onsale today. Valid from 26th October 2008, the new schedule boasts unbeatable one-way prices starting at 66 Euros (£52) on international routes and 41 YTL (£18) on domestic routes*, available until 29th March 2009.

Aer Arann launches new route from Dublin to City of Derry Airport
Aer Arann has launched its new City of Derry to Dublin route, promising to reduce fares and increase capacity on the route. This new Aer Arann routes will operate seven days a week providing two daily services between the two cities.
Aer Lingus increases long haul fuel surcharge
Aer Lingus is to increase its long haul fuel surcharge on four of its long haul routes to the US, effective from Wednesday, 30th July 2008. This increase applies to the longer sector transatlantic routes operated by Aer Lingus and is as a result of the 50% increase in jet fuel spot prices since the beginning of the year. Surcharges on New York, Boston and Washington Dulles, the shorter sector services to the US, remain unchanged.
airBaltic to launch direct lights from Riga to Amsterdam
On October 26 of this year, airBaltic will begin direct flights from Riga to the Dutch capital city of Amsterdam. airBaltic will fly to Amsterdam every day. The flight will be offered on a Boeing 737-500 airplane and will last 2 hours and 20 minutes.
airBaltic partners with Brussels Airlines to offer flights to Africa
As of yesterday, airline passengers in Latvia have a wider choice of destinations in Africa and Europe, because a code-share agreement between airBaltic and Brussels Airlines which takes effect from this week.
airBaltic to launch direct flights from Riga to Dubai
On October 24 of this year, airBaltic will begin direct flights from Riga to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. airBaltic will fly to Dubai twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. The flight will be offered on a Boeing 757-200 airplane and will last 6 hours and 15 minutes. One-way tickets will start at LVL 139, including airport fees and transaction costs.

BA hopefuls rowing for gold

Delta adds daytime Atlanta to São Paulo Flight
Delta has announced a new seasonal nonstop flight between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and São Paulo’s Guarulhos Airport in Brazil, starting December 20, 2008. The new daytime frequency will operate three times weekly and will complement Delta’s year-round, nightly nonstop service to São Paulo from Atlanta and New York-JFK.
Delta announces new service to balmy, beautiful Bonaire
Delta Air Lines will turn up the heat this winter with a new nonstop flight between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and the sunny island of Bonaire starting December 20, 2008 (subject to foreign government approval). Known as one of the finest snorkeling and scuba diving destinations, Bonaire is part of the Dutch Caribbean islands off the coast of Venezuela. This new flight complements Delta’s existing flight between Atlanta and Bonaire.
