Aer Lingus announces new route to Bulgaria
Aer Lingus today announced a new service from Dublin to Bourgas in Bulgaria. The new service marks the first Aer Lingus scheduled flight to Bulgaria and moreover, the only scheduled service from Ireland.

SAS strengthens offering to Milan
It will now be simpler to fly with SAS to Italy. As of April 16, SAS is to increase the number of departures between Stockholm and Milan. This increase will involve an additional afternoon departure between Arlanda and Malpensa on Wednesdays and Fridays. SAS now flies nine times a week direct to Milan from Stockholm.
Ryanair reports record bookings from Belfast Base
Ryanair, has announced record bookings at its recently opened base in George Best Belfast City airport base. Since November, over 300,000 passengers have snapped up Ryanair’s lowest fares on four routes to London, Glasgow, Liverpool and East Midlands, saving both money and time from Belfast’s central airport.
SWISS named best short-haul airline

Lufthansa appoints station manager for Bristol
Lufthansa has appointed Helen Allen as Station Manager to oversee the running of the airline’s new operation in Bristol with flights to Frankfurt due to start at the end of March. It is a return to Bristol for Allen who studied German at the University of Bristol from 1983 to 1987.
