bmi regional takes off for Kristiansand
bmi regional, officially the UK’s most punctual airline, launched its new route from Aberdeen to Kristiansand last Friday. The new route provides Scottish travellers with links to Norway’s fifth largest city, which is located in the country’s southern region and is an important centre for the oil and shipping industries. Flights operate every day with the exception of Saturday.

Virgin Atlantic sponsors A-Z flight of Oz!
Virgin Atlantic today announced that it is to sponsor Robin Liston and Rory McAuliffe’s attempt to fly around Australia visiting at least 26 different places with different letters of the alphabet – the A-Z of Oz. The two men plan to set off from Melbourne in a single-engine Piper Cherokee aircraft on 9 April and hope to make the 6000 mile journey in approximately 30 days.
