New York was the unexpected winner of a survey on which city is the top spot for a romantic break, beating Paris, Venice and Rome. In the survey of 250 people run by leading flight search engine, Skyscanner.net in the run up to Valentine’s Day, New York topped the poll with almost 25% of the vote.
