GKN Driveline adds to performance of BMW ‘M’ cars
As is the case with all BMW ‘M’ (Motorsport) models, BMW’s dynamic new M3 Coupe recently revealed at the Geneva motor show, is fitted with GKN Driveline’s Visco Lok limited slip differential (LSD). A completely new design and the first of a four-model line-up, the new BMW M3 Coupe has “embodied the athletic heart of the brand…”.

BMW powers forwards with The O2
BMW UK has joined forces with AEG to become the official automotive partner for The O2, the UK’s première entertainment venue. When it opens in June, The O2 will feature significant BMW branding and signage as well as allowing BMW to showcase its latest products at the venue.
BMW: On-line fraud
Following a spate of bogus emails, BMW UK would like to underscore that it does not offer cash prizes or cars as part of free prize draws. An email entitled ‘International Awareness Promotion Department of the BMW Automobile Company’ is not a bonafide BMW campaign and the firm has no relationship with the people responsible for issuing the notices.
More accolades for BMW
BMW has been honoured with five more awards from the UK’s motoring press in recognition of its outstanding product range. Auto Express magazine voted the BMW 3 Series best compact executive car in its recent annual Used Car Awards ceremony. The BMW 5 Series scooped the prize for best executive car.

BMW’s popular Service Inclusive package that keeps the cost of car ownership to a minimum is now available for a new low introductory price. Customers purchasing a BMW 1 Series can now take advantage of a £190 one-off fee at the time of purchase and get their car covered by BMW’s five-year, 60,000 miles Service package.

Hams Hall plant produces one millionth engine
On 16 April, a 2.0-litre petrol engine ordered by a customer for a new three-door version of the BMW 1 Series was the one millionth engine to be produced at the Hams Hall plant since production started at the state-of-the-art West Midlands factory in January 2001.

BMW Plant Chennai - Official opening

Mansell’s school run with F1 hopefuls
