A new BMW for every day of the month
BMW has announced the start of production and prices for a plethora of new models, making September 2006 BMW’s largest ever single month for model introductions in the UK. A total of 32 new models will arrive, including the new 3 Series Coupé, the revised X3 Sports Activity Vehicle and, BMW’s most expensive model ever, the new BMW M6 Convertible. New engine derivatives for 3 Series Saloon and Touring, and Exclusive Editions for the 7 Series range, also join the BMW line up.

Six-cylinder heaven for BMW 3 Series
BMW is introducing three new six-cylinder powerplants into the BMW 3 Series range for September 2006. The most popular model in the BMW portfolio now encompasses a new twin-turbo 3.0-litre petrol engine, to be badged 335i, and a single turbocharged diesel engine called the 325d. Joining these two new units is the most powerful diesel ever to power a BMW in the UK - a twin-turbocharged 2,993cc engine with 286hp.

The BMW X5 defined a new segment of the car market when it first appeared in 1999. It was the first SUV-type vehicle to offer a genuinely sporty car-like drive. BMW coined the phrase Sports Activity Vehicle to define its dynamic attributes over its rivals’ utilitarian construction. Year-on-year record sales since its launch in the UK are evidence of its appeal to customers and it set a new standard for the competition.

BMW is pleased to announce the launch of a revised X3, featuring the most powerful diesel engine ever to power a production BMW in the UK. The revised X3 features two new petrol engines and is set to take the Sports Activity Vehicle sector by storm.

BMW M6 Convertible to debut at the British International Motor Show
BMW’s fastest ever soft-top, the BMW M6 Convertible, will make its debut at the British International Motor Show (July 18 – 30). Powered by the award-winning 5.0-litre V10 engine and using a host of F1-derived technology, the BMW M6 Convertible combines all the performance of the M6 Coupé but with the added luxury of open-air motoring.

BMW and Mini unveil new fleet of personal finance products
BMW Financial Services and Money by MINI are launching new personal finance product ranges. The new products include BMW and MINI eSaver savings account, with a Car Saver bonus that gives the option to earn 7% interest for up to 12 months when savings of up to £3,000 are redeemed against the purchase of a BMW or MINI – a quick and straightforward way to save towards a vehicle.

BMW confirms innovative and exciting plans for British International Motor Show
