Road pricing – the public will decide
In advance of Alistair Darling’s speech on road pricing today (09), the RAC Foundation can reveal that only 8% of people don’t think the roads are too congested, and 47% support the principle of a road pricing scheme in the UK if all the revenue raised was returned to the motorists through lower road tax. Only 16% of people strongly oppose the proposal.

New Peugeot 107 achieves 4-star euro NCAP rating
The new Peugeot 107 scores well in the latest round of Euro NCAP tests, achieving a 4-star rating and 26-point score – a high score for ‘B’ segment small cars. The Peugeot 107 has also been awarded a 2-star (14-points) rating for pedestrian safety and 3-stars (36-points) for child protection.
