Nissan announces net income at 92.3 billion yen in FY07 first quarter
Nissan has announced that consolidated net income after tax totalled 92.3 billion yen (US $764 million, euro 566 million) in the first quarter of fiscal year 2007, ending March 31, 2008, down 16.2% compared with the same period a year ago. The drop in net income is due mainly to a higher effective tax rate compared to the same period in 2006.
