Nissan 350Z prices announced
Nissan has announced the price of the new 350Z, with its uprated engine, to give a starting figure of £26,795 OTR for the Coupe and £28,295 OTR for the Roadster, representing an increase of only £300. This also includes the recently announced rise in road tax (up £90) and the first registration fee (up £12). Vehicle deliveries are expected to start from mid May.
Nissan prepares for kick-off of Qashqai Urban Challenge Tour
Nissan has announced the locations for each city of the QASHQAI Urban Challenge which commences in the UK on May 4 and culminates in France on June 23. So with less than two weeks to go, full preparations are underway and the riders are in training for a tour that will see the limits pushed for mountain bike free-riding.
Nissan Note: 100,000 European customers in 12 months
Happy Birthday NOTE! Just over a year since its European launch, Nissan’s delivered its 100,000th NOTE. This puts NOTE in third place in its segment in Europe, ahead of established competitors such as Renault Modus, Honda Jazz and Fiat Idea, and represents a market share of 9.6 percent of the B-MPV segment. For half of those buyers, NOTE is the first time they’ve bought a Nissan.
Nissan to test Intelligent Transport System using cell phones
Nissan has announced that it is developing an advanced Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) employing cellular communications to help reduce accidents involving pedestrians. Nissan is also conducting research on pedestrian-related communication involving the transmitting of pedestrian position data to vehicles via the Global Positioning System (GPS).

Nissan and NEC to form new company for advanced batteries
