Another record year for Volvo Trucks
2005 was another record year for Volvo Trucks. The company delivered a total of 103,696 (97,264) trucks - the highest ever recorded in the history of the company – which represented an increase of 7% on the previous year. Refocussed management team strengthened
With immediate effect, Hartshorne Group, the Midland’s premier supplier of commercial vehicles, has restructured its Senior Management team at Board level. The move involves Group Managing Director David Bachelor taking overall responsibility for the company’s Volvo Truck and Bus new and used vehicle sales operations in addition to his current aftermarket duties. At the same time, Sales Director Brian Bachelor has taken on overall responsibility for replicating Hartshorne’s success in the heavy truck market with the Volvo franchise by maintaining and developing the company’s rapidly growing VW Van business in his new role as Managing Director of Hartshorne Van Services Limited.
