Womad Festival introduces Drum n Bass event
Regarded as one of the most eclectic festivals in the world, WOMAD has become even more diverse with the introduction of a Drum n Bass event on Saturday 26 July. A new addition to WOMAD for 2008, this 2,000 capacity marquee will see some of the world’s most influential drum n bass artists take to the decks.

The title track of Ali Campbell’s second solo album ‘Running Free’ is an original duet with the UK soul queen Beverley Knight. The second single to be taken from the top 10 album sees the two West Midlanders on fine fettle with their vocals working superbly well together.

Muswell Hill pub receives new lease of life
On Friday 7th of March, The Clissold Arms in Muswell Hill will open its doors again to the public following a major refurbishment under new ownership. Hugh O’Boyle and Caroline Jones, who bought the pub back in the Autumn of 2007, have a handfull of hugely popular gastropubs in North London including The Three Crowns in Stoke Newington, The Spurstowe Arms in Hackney and The Talbot in De Beauvoir.
