Ryanair announces lowest fares ticket sale
Ryanair has today announced the launch of the guaranteed lowest fares in Europe, i.e. free. Ryanair now operates 771 routes across Europe offering the best route network and the guaranteed lowest fares with no fuel surcharges.
El Al cuts fuel surcharge
El Al, the national carrier of Israel, has announced a reduction in its fuel charge back to a level last seen in May. From Monday 22nd September, any tickets booked for travel on/or after 19th October will be subject to the new unified level of £69.00 per leg across all classes.

Air France awarded for innovative in-flight entertainment
The World Airline Entertainment Association (WAEA) has just awarded Air France the prize for the best single achievement in 2008 in Los Angeles. This prestigious prize recompenses the performance achieved by Air France in terms of inflight entertainment over the last 12 months.
Austrian announces inauguration of Vienna Aviation Campus
The newly constructed training centre, where all training facilities currently spread out over several sites will be combined at one location, is the third and final complex of the “Vienna Aviation Campus”, which was formally opened today. The training building provides a connection between the simulator centre of Lufthansa Flight Training and the already existent Flight Safety and Security Center (mock-up hall) of Austrian Airlines.
bmi offers special fares to XL passengers
bmi, London Heathrow’s second largest airline is offering special repatriation fares to passengers stranded abroad with XL flight bookings. Special repatriation fares are available to XL passengers returning to the UK from Florida, the Caribbean, Israel, Jordan, Turkey and Egypt and are valid for travel between 13 and 30 September.
bmibaby launches summer 2009 programme
bmibaby has launched stage one of its summer 2009 flight programme with exciting new routes from East Midlands Airport to Almeria, from Manchester to Toulouse and Amsterdam, and from Cardiff to Lisbon. Lufthansa goes mobile
Lufthansa passengers can now use mobile boarding passes on all flights from Germany to any destination in Europe.
