airBaltic to launch direct flights to Ventspils
The Latvian airline airBaltic will launch regularly scheduled flights to Ventspils on April 11 of this year. Initially airBaltic will fly to Ventspils twice a day on weekdays.
easyJet opens 20th base at Lyon Airport

Air France offers BBC news bulletins on flights to LA
To accompany the launch of its new daily London-Los Angeles service on 31 March 2008, Air France is teaming up with the International news channel BBC World to offer customers their favourite daily news bulletins. KLM puts passengers in a South American mood

Lufthansa and Ethiopian Airlines launch codeshare flights
From 4 April 2008, Ethiopian Airlines and Lufthansa passengers can fly with either airline on routes between Frankfurt and the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa. Customers will then have a choice of seven flights per week on this route.
