Volvo’s used truck retail operation to move closer to customers
Volvo Trucks has announced that, from 24th December 2008, the company’s Used Truck Retail Sales Operation at Coventry will be devolved to the existing depots at Bedford and Didcot, Kettering, Hayes, Enfield and Avonmouth and the new Dealerpoint at Bardon (Leics.). Used Truck Sales staff will be based out of the Dealerpoints.
Volvo in pilot project for climate-efficient timber transportation
In January 2009 a pilot project will get under way that may lead to a radical decrease in the climate impact of Sweden’s timber transport operations. The goals are fewer vehicles, lower emissions and continued high traffic safety.
