Nissan is offering its customers a holiday of up to six-months this autumn/winter – a payment holiday that is! Customers buying from a wide range of Nissan models, including the recently revised Micra range, NOTE and Pathfinder, before 15th December, can drive away in their new car without paying a single penny.

Used 4x4 car of the year?
The Nissan X-TRAIL has been What Car’s? ‘best compact 4x4’ for the past two years. To add to that accolade in What Car’s? latest praise of cars, used ones this time, it awarded Nissan’s compact SUV the coveted title of ‘Best 4x4 2006’ over-coming the Kia Sorento.

Nissan has been Patroling the earth for 55 years and the latest version stays true to its working ethic. New Trek and Aventura versions bring the Patrol in line with Nissan’s sportier 4x4s, the X-TRAIL and Pathfinder. But pricing that drops by up to £3545 puts the hard grafting Patrol into a niche of its own.

Nissan has announced it would begin testing a newly developed intelligent transportation system which allows vehicle-to-infrastructure communication to help reduce traffic accidents and ease congestion.

Nissan begins product charge at Hanover Motor Show
Nissan’s participation at the 61st International Motor Show (IAA) in Hanover, Germany, will see the World Premiere of the all-new Cabstar light duty truck, as well as a display of a hybrid-powered Cabstar concept vehicle, a new range of engines on the new Atleon light truck, plus enhancements to Primastar and Interstar.

Infiniti brand launched in Russia at the Moscow International Motor Show
Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan, celebrated its official launch in Russia today at the Moscow International Motor Show. The initial line-up of Infiniti vehicles, which go on sale this fall, includes the sporty crossover FX and the M luxury performance sedan, both offered in 3.5l V6 and 4.5l V8 versions and available at dealerships in Moscow and St Petersburg. Infiniti also disclosed its future Russian product line-up including the G35 sport sedan and QX56 full-size SUV and provided a hint at the future with the Infiniti Coupe Concept. During its press conference, Infiniti also announced its new European headquarters would be established in Switzerland.

The glovebox relined
The new Micra Activ will raise an eyebrow not just for the £965 worth of extra kit it has over the Micra Initia yet undercuts by £500 … but also for its funky red lined glovebox which at 13 litres could take an entire sock draw.

The Nissan apprentice of the year is….
This is the moment where 170 apprentices from Nissan dealerships have the opportunity to be awarded the accolade of ‘Apprentice of the Year 2006’ and this year the chosen few are – Darren Lee from Sunwin Motors in Nottingham as the 3rd year apprentice, Daniel Kirkland from Wessex garage Newport who is a 2nd year apprentice and Carrie Crombie a parts consultant from Reg Vardy in Aberdeen.

Nissan Scores for Spurs
Nissan has signed a deal with Tottenham Hotspur’s commercial team to supply 32 vehicles including NOTEs, Primeras, Muranos, Interstars and Kubistars.
