Vans to open first UK partnership store
Vans have teamed up with legendary independent streetwear retailer, Natterjacks, to open the first partnership store in the UK. The unit is located on Fife Street, within the hub of the shopping district in Kingston Upon Thames and will open its doors on the 24th May 2008.
Mel B announced as new face and body of Ultimo
Ultimo announce Spice Girl Mel B to be the new Face and Body of Ultimo. Mel B will be replacing the Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding. Mel said, “I am over the moon to become the Face and Body of Ultimo lingerie. When Michelle Mone asked me, I was ecstatic. I was so excited, but slightly nervous – I had never modelled lingerie before. The photo shoot in LA was fantastic. Jean Charles De Castelbajac gears up to open London flagship
Iconic French designer, Jean Charles de Castelbajac is gearing up to open his first London flagship store at 50-51 Conduit Street on 5th June with a launch party for fashion press and special guests. The store which has been designed by both the architect Christian Ghion and Jean Charles de Castelbajac, will feature a ‘Rubik’s cube’ till, designed by Castelbajac and the first of its kind in the world. The new store will stock the entire range of Castelbajac’s products including his fashion collections, luggage, sunglasses, shoes, headwear and stationary.
