Divine Chocolate, the leading Fairtrade brand co-owned by cocoa farmers, is co-sponsoring national Chocolate Week 2008 (13th-19th October). Launched in collaboration with the Academy of Chocolate and now in its fifth year, Chocolate Week is all about unadulterated chocolate indulgence, and because Divine is celebrating its 10th birthday, this year’s line up is set to be the best yet.
Online ticket sales soar for Eastbourne Beer Festival
Festival fans are being urged to get their tickets for the sixth annual Eastbourne Beer Festival before they sell out as online sales hit an all time high. Since going on sale in July, more than 500 tickets have been sold online through the town’s official tourism website, VisitEastbourne.com’s E-shop.

Leamington Spa Food & Drink Festival deemed outstanding success
The Leamington Spa Food & Drink Festival, which took place on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August, has been deemed an outstanding success. Around 10,000 people attended the Festival over the two days and over 50 local businesses exhibited their produce from stalls in the Pump Room Gardens. Even the rain on the Sunday didn’t deter people from celebrating the event which has now safely put Leamington on the map as a top food and drink destination.
New 'Taste Trail' at the Leamington Spa Food & Drink Festival
A ‘Taste Trail’ is being incorporated for the first time into the Royal Leamington Spa Food & Drink Festival’. The Taste Trail, which features 13 different restaurants in the town, encourages people to visit participating restaurants and sample their food free of charge.

San Francisco celebrates Slow Food
Slow Food Nation has announced the line-up for 23 Taste Workshops, one-hour in-depth taste experiences led by passionate artisans guiding students of Slow Food in the complexity and delight of good, clean and fair food. The Taste Workshops will be held on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31, during Slow Food Nation at Fort Mason Center in San Francisco.
