Low-cost terminal fees in Marseille

Air France expressed its satisfaction with the decision taken by the Council of State on 7 May 2008, cancelling the amount of airport fees applicable in the MP2 low-cost terminal at Marseille-Provence airport for 2006 and 2007.

Austrian to increase fuel surcharges from May 20

Due to the new record high in the kerosene purchase price, the Austrian Airlines Group is increasing its fuel surcharge for short- and medium-haul flights from the current level of EUR 17 to EUR 21. Fuel surcharges on long-haul routes also have to be increased, from EUR 77 to EUR 82.

BA confirms long haul switch for June

BAA and British Airways confirmed today that the first phase of the move of additional flights into Heathrow Terminal 5 will take place in June. Services to and from eight long-haul destinations will be switched from Terminal 4 to Terminal 5 on June 5.

Flybe adds two extra services to accommodate TT fans

Icelandair soars on the silver screen

An Icelandair Boeing 757 will make its screen debut alongside superstar Brendan Fraser and Icelandic newcomer Anita Briem in New Line Cinema’s summer blockbuster Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D. The movie is based on Jules Verne’s sci-fi masterpiece, in which Snaefellsjökull glacier in Iceland conceals the secret entrance to the center of the Earth.
