BA says “no delay to service quality targets”
British Airways is urging the Civil Aviation Authority to stop BAA delaying the introduction of improved customer service quality targets at Heathrow by up to two years. The airline is providing evidence to the CAA at oral hearings on the current BAA airport charges review that start on Monday January 28, 2008.

Tele check-in now launches at Lisbon Airport
The new Tele Check-in and In-Flight Reading desk is already operational at Terminal 2 in Lisbon Airport. From January 18, all TAP passengers departing from Terminal 2 and travelling luggage-free and destined for any airport within national territory – Faro, Porto, Madeira and the Azores – can check-in via telephone and pick up their boarding-card at this new desk installed in the new terminal building at Lisbon International Airport.
Aerlingus.com achieves record sales
Aer Lingus' "January World Clearance Sale" reached record levels on Monday (21st January), with almost 51,000 seats booked on the airlines website, Aerlingus.com, in just one day. This is the highest level of online sales achieved in one day so far this year, and is a 50% increase on the same day last year.
Austrian to launch twice-daily service to Dubai
From autumn 2008 onwards, due to healthy demand for the service, Austrian Airlines will begin operating twice-daily direct connections to Dubai.
