TV chef backs ‘Restaurants Against Hunger’ appeal
Thackeray’s restaurant in Tunbridge Wells and Hengist in Aylesford near Maidstone, both co owned by TV chief Richard Phillips, are to donate £1 to ‘Restaurants Against Hunger’ (RAH) charity, each time a customer orders their venison. Phillips has created a Roast Loin of Chart Farm Venison served with roast root vegetables, pancetta, chanterelle mushrooms, and pomme soufflé with a game jus.
