Bratislava’s Christmas markets open for business on November 28th when the city’s Christmas tree lights are switched on and hundreds of stall holders set up in the main square Hlavne Namestie and Hviezdoslavovo Square in the Old Town, right up until Christmas Eve. The accent is on traditional Slovak food, drinks, crafts and gifts, with stalls open from 10am to 10pm, to maximise shopping time.
