Yates’s, the high street bar owned and operated by The Laurel Pub Company is offering an early Christmas present to those families with children under 10 years of age. If you order a main course from the Yates’s menu, children under 10 can have a meal from the children’s menu, which also includes a fruit drink absolutely free.

The latest restaurant in Harrods celebrates the bounty available from the sea. In association with Caviar House and Prunier, the new bar will offer eleven different caviars, ranging from the ‘Traditional’ caviar, with firm dark eggs and a full flavour, to ‘Beluga’ caviar, sourced from the largest sturgeon, with large grey coloured grains and a distinctive creamy aftertaste.

PIADA - Italian slow food, fast and fresh

PIADA, located at 12-14 St John Street, London, opened in Smithfield Market in September 2006, with a second restaurant just opened in Soho’s Frith Street. Piade - or piadine as they are also known – are a unique Italian flatbread hailing from the Emilia-Romagna region of northeast Italy and considered by many to be one of the country’s most delicious forms of street food.

Over 8,000 people contributed to Harden’s UK Restaurant Guide 2008 submitting more than 100,000 reviews. From these a shortlist of restaurants was drawn up for the Rémy Martin Excellence Award.
