Confused.com: Scottish Power energy price cuts

Today's announcement by Scottish Power that it is set to reduce prices for its gas and electricity from 31 March 2009 is welcome news for households across the UK who are struggling to meet their energy bills.

ScottishPower has announced that it is cutting prices. The reductions - 7.5% or £68 for gas and 3% or £14 for electricity - come into effect on 31st March. It means that the average ScottishPower dual fuel bill will drop from £1,369 to £1,286.
