The Granville @ Barford is once again celebrating after winning another prestigious food & drink award. The Granville won "Most Distinctive Local Menu" in the Warwickshire Life Food & Drink Awards 2008, which celebrate Warwickshire’s best producers, suppliers and restaurants. The Granville was one of three finalists in the category beating off competition from The Bluebell in Henley in Arden and The Bridge at Bidford.
Catch it, cook it, eat it!
Foodies from across the country are being invited to ‘catch’, cook and eat their dinner every Thursday between November and March at the two AA rosette Torridon Restaurant in Wester Ross.

The Granville @ Barford is celebrating the fact that it has been nominated for two local prestigious food & drink awards. The Granville has been nominated for ‘Best Dining Pub/Inn’ in the highly coveted Coventry & Warwickshire Food & Drink Awards 2008. Last year The Granville beat tough competition to win both ‘Best Restaurant’ and ‘Champion of Local Produce’. The Granville will find out whether it has won for a second year on Tuesday 18 November at an awards ceremony at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

Festival fans needn’t go Hungry
Throughout August 2008, The Stockbridge Restaurant in Edinburgh is offering a special pre-theatre menu for festival fans. The restaurant’s head chef and Scottish City Chef of the Year, Jason Gallagher, will be serving up his trademark delicious dishes from 18.00 to 19.00 on weekdays at the tasty price of £16.95 for two courses and £19.95 for three courses.
